Tuesday the 3rd
We took a bus from school which took us to the airport, where after a few hours, we took off. We arrived in during the late evening and, after a teacher from the college told us the rules and how to use our bus tickets, we rent a taxi to reach our host family at their home.
When we settled down in our room, we stayed a little bit awake and then Attilio, Leonardo and me had a sandwich. after that we fell asleep.
Wednesday the 4th
We woke up at 7:30 and after that we had breakfast. Than we got ready for school and our host family assured that we were going to take the bus.
In the morning we had an entrance test where the teachers evaluated us,and, stated our English level by putting us in different school classes. At the end, I was very satisfied, because the school put me in the “higher class” with other talented students.
After the test, we had orientation tour and we visited Edinburgh, which it turned out to be a magnificent city!
Thursday the 5th
In this day unfortunately I got really bored, because of a lesson which was pretty trivial. In addition we also had to get back home earlier ( I don’t know why the host family told us this).
Friday the 6th
If on Thursday I got board, I very enjoyed Friday the 6th, not only for a particular lessons, but also because we visited the national gallery, which was full of magnificent paintings.
After all those activities we got hungry and (unfortunately) we decided to ate a gigantic fried chicken bucket for 4 people in 2, and we did not felt very well after that.
Saturday the 7th
On Saturday we went to Saint Andrews,
during the trip had to take one of those three beautiful bridges, which connects Edinburgh with Saint Andrews.
There were lot’s of castles which were from the war between English and Scottish people. However the majority of them were reproductions made in the 20th century.
Sunday the 8th
We woke up very early because we had to take the train to go to Tantallon Castle
It also had a beautiful cliff, and at 2 km there was this rock, which seemed white, but actually it was not his natural color, but the seagulls’s one.
Monday the 9th and Tuesday the 10th
In these two days we visited Edinburgh free, or rather on our selves, visiting shops and buying stuff and clothes. We went mainly in shops like H&M, JD nd a few more...
We also visited the grave of the “Edinburg’s best friend”, a dog which spent his life waiting on his master’s grave
This is Walter Scott’s monument.
Finally here we are. Unfortunately an other beautiful travel is ended, a travel where we learned not only English, but also a different way to organize our lives and stay together to appreciate what we have. However, I will never forget it.
